Phyllis J. Kime

Phyllis J. Kime, age 82 of Bendersville, passed awayFriday, October 3, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born Tuesday, June 21, 1932 in Tyrone Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Roy and Etta (Warren) Decker. Phyllis graduated from Biglerville High School in 1950. She was formerly employed by several local packing houses and Kime's Cider Mill. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bendersville and the Pathfinders Sunday School Class. Phyllis was a lover of animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed walking on the beach looking for sharks teeth, and travelling all over the United States. Baking and cooking for her family was her favorite joy. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marvin G. Kime. She is also survived by two daughters, Vicky and husband Chris Cuttitta of Gardners and Valerie K. Trujillo of Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren, Ben Cuttitta of Rockville, MD, Kelly and husband James Lang of Havelock, NC and Teal Trujillo of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Janet McKenrick, Doris Portner, Geraldine "Babe" Decker and brother Robert Decker. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 7:30 PM Monday, October 6 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 126 Church Street, Bendersville with Reverend Maren Alexis-Tomkiel officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 6:00 PM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, P.O.
