Queen I. Wileman, age 88, of New Oxford, passed away March 10, 2024 at Spirit Trust Lutheran Village in Gettysburg. She was born March 5, 1936 in East Berlin, a daughter of the late John W. and Maria L. (Griest) Clapper. Queen was widowed by her husband, Merle F. Wileman.
She is survived by her daughters, Angie Baker and Wanda Woodson both of New Oxford; grandchildren, James M. Garner and wife, Katelynn, Jamie L. Woodson, Josh L. Woodson, Nikki Hart, Corey Moyer and wife, Annamae, Terry Wileman and wife, Raeann and Melissa Wileman Shaw; great-grandchildren, Paige, Carrie, Jimmy, Dakota, Lily, Arriana, Clayton, Carter, Teagan, Brandon, Bradley, Seth and Amanda and daughter-in-law, Cindy Wileman of Biglerville. Queen was preceded in death by her sons, William E. Wileman and wife, Pat; Jeff Wileman; brother, Floyd Clapper; sisters, Dorothy Carter, Betty Deatrick and Catherine Cross and son-in-law, Jim Baker.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 18, 2024. Pastor Ken Reid and Pastor Ron Parr will officiate the funeral. A Viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of services. Queen will be laid to rest at Wenksville Cemetery.
