Ralph Knouse Culp, departed his earthly life on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Cross Keys Village Brethren Home. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and beloved grandfather. He was born Thursday, March 7, 1929 in Menallen Township, Adams County to Luther Merl and Mary Blanche Knouse Culp. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, RuthAnn Rider Culp of Biglerville. In addition, two sons and their families: Gregory, wife Melinda, and grandson Nathaniel of Bendersville; and Randall, wife Holly and two granddaughters, Janna and Maleah of Hanover. Ralph was a graduate of Biglerville High School Class of 1948. He served in the US Army from January 1951 to December 1952. He was employed by Big A Auto Parts in Carlisle for almost 40 years; and retired with 10 years of employment fromKnouse Foods, Peach Glen in 1996. He was a life member of Bendersville Fire Company and the Ira E. Lady Post 262American Legion in Biglerville. He was predeceased by his brother Richard and sister Rhea Blocher; and is survived by a sister, Regina Heyser. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38 N. High Street, Arendtsville on Thursday, August 4 at 11:00 AM with Pastor RobertBlezard officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Bendersville Fire Company, PO Box 254, Bendersville, PA 17306 LSS Hospice, 260 West High Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325 Cross Keys Village Adult Day Care Center, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.
