Ralph Junior Smyth

Ralph “Pete” Junior Smyth, age 82, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle. He was born January 14, 1941 in Gardners, PA, as the son of the late Ralph R. and Mary R. (Aughinbaugh) Smyth.

Ralph attended Boiling Springs High School. He worked as a laborer at Sylvania Shoe in Mt. Holly Springs for many years. He retired from Flying J in Carlisle. In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed playing pool, fishing and camping.

Ralph is survived by his loving daughter, Michelle Martin and her significant other, Andy Schriver of Carlisle; son, Todd Smyth and his wife, Stacy of Elko, GA; four grandsons; one granddaughter; sister, Nancy Hoon of Killeen, TX and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah (Kotzmoyer) Smyth and his two brothers, Clarence Smyth and Gene Smyth.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Private Graveside Services will be in Wenksville Cemetery, Biglerville.
