Randall L. Snyder

Randall L. Snyder, age 56 of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Monday, October 26, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Ross Conley and Helen V. (Snyder) Wendler. Randy graduated from Liberty High School in Clarksburg, WV in 1977. He earned a Regents Bachelor of Arts from Fairmont State University while working at Steptoe and Johnson Law Firm in Clarksburg, WV and then a Bachelor in Science in Nursing from Shepherd University. He was formerly employed as a registered nurse working in various capacities in the healthcare field. Some of his interests included tennis, basketball and watching movies. He collected watches and loved electronics. He is survived by one sister, Sharon Y. and husband Larry D. Hockenberry of Shippensburg, one nephew, Todd McGee of Mesa, AZ and two nieces, Krista McGee of Weirton, WV and Elisa McGee of Martinsburg, WV and their families. He is also survived by his Pug, Filo, who was the son he said he never had. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Snyder. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held at the discretion of the family. Interment will be in Shinnston Masonic Cemetery in Shinnston WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
