Raymond C. Thompson age 48, of Biglerville died Monday, April 8, 2013 at his home. He was born Thursday, September 10, 1964 in Buffalo, NY. He was the son of Dorothy (Carter) Thompson of Biglerville and the late Charles R. Thompson. Ray graduated from Biglerville High School in 1983. Hewas employed by PPG Industries in Mt Holly Springs for 10 years. He was a member of Ira E. Lady AmericanLegion Post 262 in Biglerville, Shoshonean Rod and Gun Club, Eagles ofGettysburg. Ray was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed ridinghis Harley, spending time at Raystown, and spending time with his grandson. He is survived by his companion of nine years, Lisa R.Smith. He is also survived by one daughter, Carli R.T.and husband Lance Shultz of Gettysburg; one grandson, Shayde Carter Shultz; one sister, Carolyn Carter of Kensington, MD; three brothers: Randy Young and Robert Young of Tennessee and Richard Young of Texas. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13 at the American Legion Woods Pavilion, Table Rock Road,Biglerville.
