Raymond Yeager, Sr.

Raymond Yeager, Sr., age 91, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2024 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg, PA. He was the son of the late Farroll R. and Nellie G. (Bell) Yeager.

Raymond worked in the parts department at Faulkner GMC before his retirement. Raymond proudly served our country honorably in the US Army and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He enjoyed fishing and had a love of old cars where he enjoyed his skills as a mechanic. He owned and operated a gas station and shop where he met the love of his life Mildred and then shared 52 years together. He enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing stories with them and was a big Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan which he enjoyed watching with his family.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred Yeager; daughters Patricia Young and her husband Jake, and Valerie Garner and her husband Carey, sons David Yeager, Richard Yeager and his special life partner Sheila, and Raymond Yeager, Jr. and his wife Mary Don; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Yeager.
