Rhea K. Rebok

Rhea K. Rebok, age 85, of Shippensburg, passed away June 25, 2023 at home. She was born October 1, 1937 in Shippensburg to the late Ralph Sylvester and Elva Janetta (Eyer) Linn.

Rhea was a seamstress for Nettie Frock, then they changed their name to Orweco Frock until the plant closed in 1988. She then had a job at Hoffman Mills as an inspector until she retired in 1999. Rhea attended Lurgan United Brethren Church. She loved bingo, doing needlepoint and crocheting, sewing, cooking, camping and watching NASCAR. Her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr., whom she met on her 60th birthday and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., after Dale, Sr. passed away.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Lee E. Rebok, Sr. of Shippensburg; children, Terry Linn and wife, Christine of Shippensburg, Deborah Coons of Shippensburg, Lee E. Rebok, Jr. of Shippensburg, Richard Rebok and wife, Jody of St. Thomas and Keith Rebok of Greencastle; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Mowers and husband, Ronald of Newville and brother, R. Edward Linn and wife, Janelle of Shippensburg. Rhea was preceded in death by three grandchildren; a step-great grandson and three brothers.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lurgan United Brethren Church, 7900 Roxbury Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257. Pastor Arthur Page will officiate the service.
