Richard L. Cline,age 79 of Fayetteville, formerly of Gardners, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. Richard was born Sunday, June 11, 1933 in Gardners the son of the late Lloyd R. and Esther (Paxton) Cline. Richard graduated from Biglerville High School on May 23, 1951. He began his employment with Knouse Foods, Peach Glen on June 1, 1951.He worked in the office for 46 years, until his retirement on June 27, 1997. He was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church where he served as organist for over 50 years. His hobbies included music, fishing and tending to his roses. Richard is survived by his wife of 56 years; Evelyn May (Smith) Cline of Fayetteville. He is also survived by his daughter, Cynthia D. Moore, Bendersville; a son, Jeffrey L. Cline, Camp Hill; two sisters: Helen Starner, Gardners, Nancy Mauss, Biglerville; a brother, Curtis Cline, Gardners; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 17 at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 1290 Gablers Road, Gardners with Reverend John Estes and Reverend Ken Reid officiating.Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, c/o Ken Fetters, 1289 Gablers Road, Gardners, PA 17324.
