Rickey L. Melhorn

Rickey L. Melhorn, age 60 of Arendtsville, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at York Hospital. He was born Sunday, January 15, 1956 in Gettysburg the son of the late George H. Sr. and Vada G. (Walker) Melhorn. Rickey attended Gettysburg High School. He was formerly employed by Jane's Market in Biglerville in the meat department for two years. He was a member of Upper Adams Jaycees. He is survived by two daughters, Jessica L. Melhorn of Chambersburg and Amanda R. Melhorn of Washington, two sons, Joshua L. Melhorn of Hanover and George A. Melhorn of Gettysburg, ten grandchildren, one sister, Rose M. Stringer of Biglerville and two brothers, George H. Melhorn, Jr. of Arendtsville and Harry M. Melhorn of Bendersville. He was preceded in death by a sister Glenda Eddington. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2017 in Bendersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
