Robert Eugene Crusey

Robert Eugene Crusey, age 58, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore. He was born November 2, 1962 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Paul A. and Dorothy (Hancock) Crusey-Heckman. Robert graduated from Shippensburg High School. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked at Volvo and was also a roofer. He was a member of Minnequa Social Club and the Chambersburg American Legion Post 46. Robert was an avid hunter, fisherman and NY Yankee’s Fan. He is survived by his daughter, Alex Crusey, TX; his sister, Cindy J. (Danny) Byers of Shippensburg; two brothers, Walter A. Crusey of Shippensburg and William L. (Pamela) Crusey of Alabama, his wife, Dorothy (Miley) Crusey of Shippensburg and three grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark E. Crusey and Paul "Gater" Crusey and his step-father, George F. Heckman. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 14, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, with Dr. Fran Norton officiating. Robert will be laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Chambersburg VFW Post #1599. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
