Robert D. Mackey

Robert D. Mackey, age 52, of Shippensburg, passed away June 9, 2022 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born June 20, 1969 to Robert D. and Rita A. (Willis) Mackey. Robert was a heavy equipment mechanic for Letterkenny Army Depot, a member of Freedom in Christ Church, Minnequa Club, American Legion Post 223 and enjoyed tinkering with electronics. He especially loved his cats. Robert is survived by his wife, Bobbie J. (Robinson) Mackey of Shippensburg, daughters, Holly Mackey and fiancé, Michael Shaffer of Mt. Holly Springs and Ashley Mackey of Harrisburg, sister, Kathy Gehres and husband, Jim of Shippensburg, niece, Shannon Gehres of Shippensburg and great-niece, Olivia and great-nephew, Landon. Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At Robert’s request, there will be no Viewing or Services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
