Robert “Bob” Eugene Guise, age 89, of Gardners, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home. He was born May 16, 1932 in Gardners, the son of the late George and Esther (Trump) Guise. Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the state of Pennsylvania for 26 years, working on the turnpike. He was a member of Ira Lady Post #262 and the VFW Post #15 Auxiliary in Gettysburg. His hobbies included hunting. He is survived by his two daughters, Barbara (Michael) Eksterowicz of Gardners and Jodi Guise; two granddaughters, Amber Rayo Vasquez and Tosha Guise; three great-grandchildren, Brandi Hockley, Hunter Hockley, and Dominic Nescio; and one great-great-grandson, Kolton Cropp; one brother, George (Kay) Guise of Biglerville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years in 2015, Hazel (Sanders) Guise; and three brothers, Bill, Dale, and Kenny Guise. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Services are at the discretion of the family.
