Robert H. Kirk

Robert H. Kirk, age 81 of East Berlin, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Gettysburg Center. He was born Friday, January 5, 1934 in Summit, NJ, the son of the late Alan P. and Geraldine (Hunter) Kirk. Robert graduated from Tredyffrin-East Town High School in Berwyn, PA in 1952. Bob was a carpenter, butcher, and farmer most of his life. He operated the Tobi Hill Farm in Honeybrook. His last employment was at Nell's Foods in East Berlin. He was a former member of Lions Club of Honeybrook and the PA Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth L. (Yawn) Kirk. He is also survived by a son, Thomas H. and wife Patricia Kirk of Honeybrook, a granddaughter, Emily L. Kirk and companion Adam G. Winters of Phoenixville, daughter-in-law Michelle L. Kirk of Biglerville, step-grandson Kevin Romig of Honeybrook and a sister, Elizabeth Shufflebotham of Lambertville, NJ. He was preceded in death by his son, William H. Kirk. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Services will be held at the discretion of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
