Robert M. Long

Robert Michael Long, age 53, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born Tuesday, September 10, 1963 in Blair County, the son of Donald H. Long of Pinehurst, NC and Dorothy Nadine (Wolff) Long of Shippensburg. Robert Michael graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1984. He was employed by Chambersburg Mall. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a kind and loving person. He served in the US Army for two and a half years. He is survived by a son, Christopher A. Long of Shippensburg, two sisters, Dr. Tricia Kelly of Allentown and Delores R. Eden of Carlisle, and a brother, Kenneth E. Long of Mont Alto. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January. 24 at 2:00 PM at The Local Gathering, Church of the Nazarene, 611 Shippensburg Road, Shippensburg with Reverend Joseph Thomas officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services.
