Robert S. Secrest went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 27th, 2023. He was born March 10, 1935 to Seth and Lula (Cook) Secrest. Robert served honorably in the US Army from 1955 to 1961 as a member of the 25th Signal Corp 7th Army, including a year and a half in Germany.
He retired from Sunnyway Foods after 28 years. Robert was a member of the Brethren Church since 1947 and most recently a member of Lifepoint Church where he served as an usher. He witnessed his faith by handing out church invitation cards wherever he went. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at his cabin.
Bob is survived by his wife of 67 years Beulah (Cauffman) Secrest; daughter, Cindy (Rich) Pryor and was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianna (Secrest) McClure/Kauffman. He is also survived by grandchildren, Matt (Beth) McClure, Mitch (Jennifer) Kauffman; great-grandchildren, Derick (Danille) McClure, Austin McClure, Taylor Kauffman and Warren Kauffman and great-great-grandchildren, Haven McClure and Quinn McClure. Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Secrest, sister, Martha Graham and is survived by a sister, Nancy Deardorff.
