Roger Leo Cooley

Roger Leo Cooley, age 82 of Aspers, passed away January 21, 2026 at York Hospital. He was born February 28, 1943 in Gettysburg to the late John F. and Grace (Wampler) Cooley. Roger was a longtime member of the Shoshonean Rod and Gun Club, was a member of the Ira E. Lady American Legion in Biglerville and enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy (Weidner) Cooley; sons, Robert Cooley and wife, Christina of Gardners and Brian Cooley of East Berlin; step-son, Brad Kroushour of Dillsburg; grandchildren, Sarah Cooley, Avery Cooley and Payton Cooley; sisters, Darlene Cooley of Biglerville and Arlene Bottenfield and husband, Kevin of Biglerville and numerous nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Ann Cooley.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where a viewing will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Additional viewing will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am at the funeral home. Rev. Trish Guise will officiate the funeral.
