Roger A. Greenwald

Roger A. Greenwald, age 69 of York Springs, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. He was born Monday, September 19, 1949 in Gettysburg, the son of the late John and Mae Lockbaum. Roger served 10 years in the United States Army having attained the rank of Sargent. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. His wife Shelby Jean (Miler) Greenwald passed away in 2018. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Victoria Miller and Edith Myers and one brother, Ronald Greenwald. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg with Reverend Michael Allwein officiating. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the family's discretion. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
