Roger L. Markley

Roger L. Markley, age 84, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab, Chambersburg. He was born August 22, 1936 in Huntsdale, PA, the son of the late William F. Sr., and Erma R. (Sennett) Markley. Roger retired from Penn Township after working as a machine operator for over 10 years. In his spare time, Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching westerns and NASCAR . Roger is survived by his brother, William F. Markley, Jr. (Cinda) of Carlisle; sister, Charlotte L. Markley of Carlisle; several nieces and nephews and great nieces. In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his three brothers, Richard, Marlin and Kevin Markley. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held at the family’s discretion.
