Rollin L. Wolfe

Rollin L. Wolfe age 89, of Aspers died Friday, March 1, 2013 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Saturday, July 28, 1923 in Newville, the son of the late Paul and Viola (Stum) Wolfe. Rollin was employed as a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Biglerville and Moose Lodge 1526 of Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Doris G. (Taylor) Wolfe. He is also survived by two daughters: Connie J. and husband Donnie Weaver of Aspers and Ginger K. Wolfe-Nolder of Aspers; two sons: Jim R. and wife Carolyn Thomas of Gettysburg and Larry Wolfe of Aspers; a sister, Shirley Richardson of Carlisle; two brothers: Paul and Gerald Wolfe, both of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Thomas who passed in 2008. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 9 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 99 N. Main St., Biglerville with Reverend John Estes officiating.Private Interment will be in the Bendersville Cemetery.
