Ronald L. Tuckey

Ronald L. Tuckey, age 83 of Biglerville, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at his home. He was born Thursday, September 13, 1928 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the son of the late Ergie R. and Myrtle (Wenk) Tuckey. Ronald graduated from Arendtsville Vocational High School in 1946 and was a farmer his entire life.He was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church, former member of the PA Farmers Association, Lifetime member of the Arendtsville Fire Company and former member of Buchanan Valley Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet R. (Yohe) Tuckey. He is also survived by two daughters: Deborah A. and husband Donald Irvin of Biglerville, Annette K. and husband Dwayne Frey of York Springs; two sons: Dave L. Tuckey of Gardners, Kevin R. and wife Sheri Tuckey of Biglerville; one sister, Earlene Mickley of Biglerville; nine grandchildren: Shannon Butler, Wesley Irvin, Jessica Frey, Amanda Tuckey, Ashley Tuckey, Amy Tuckey, Ryan Tuckey, Nathan Tuckey and Kaitlin Tuckey; four great-grandchildren: Hayden Tuckey, Austin Marshall, Kayleigh Butler and Arianna Tuckey. He was preceded in death by sister, Louella McKinney and granddaughter Lindsey Tuckey. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 18 at 11:00 AMat Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend James R. Speelman officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until timeof services. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Tuckey, Nathan Tuckey, WesleyIrvin, Andrew Marshall, Ronnie Trostle and Neil Mickley.
