Ruby F. Swisher

Ruby Faye Swisher, age 63, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born July 3, 1956 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late Richard Gillan and Mary Jane (Reese) Swisher. Ruby worked as a certified nursing assistant, hotel manager and cashier at Kennie’s Market in Gettysburg. Ruby is survived by two sisters, Kathy Foster of Newville and Linda Morrow of NC and two sons, Joshua Forsythe of Chambersburg and Derek Forsythe of Manchester, MD. Ruby’s family stated that she was a wonderful artist and liked to crochet. Her greatest joy was found in having her two sons and raising them. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services are at the discretion of the family.
