Ruth N. Wright

Ruth N. Wright, age 98, formerly of Bendersville, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Brethren Home in New Oxford. She was born Saturday, April 7, 1917 in Lobelia, WV, the daughter of the late Ellwood E. and Ruby L. (Alderman) Hill. Ruth was a home maker most of her life, but was employed seasonally at C.H. Musselman in Biglerville for many years. She was a founding member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Biglerville. Her husband, Thurman W. Wright passed away in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy E. Anlage of Mobile, AL, three sons, Harold Wright of Hanover, Donald Wright of Atlanta, Gary L. Wright of Dover; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two sisters, Madeline Smith of Littlestown and Betty Ramsey of NC, and a brother, Melvin Hill of Baltimore. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Terlizzi and Mary Ionescu and five brothers, Lorraine Hill, Joel Hill, Paul Hill, Ward Hill and Mearl Hill. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend Gary Fanus officiating. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
