Samuel E. Etter, Jr.

Samuel E. Etter, Jr., age 77, of Shippensburg, passed away October 15, 2023 at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born September 28, 1946 in Chambersburg to the late Samuel E. Sr. and Ruby V. (Leedy) Etter. Samuel was a member of the Shippensburg Fish and Game and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and going to auctions.

He is survived by his children, Susan Etter of Harrisburg; Stephanie Shenton and husband, Christopher of Shippensburg; Samuel Etter, III and wife, Debra of Walnut Bottom and Scott Etter of Chambersburg; grandchildren, Wesley Etter, Mackenzie Gordon, Isaac Shenton and Lily Etter and great-grandchildren, Owen Etter and Liam Etter. He is also survived by his sister, Jane Lytle and husband, Robert of Shippensburg; brother, Fred Etter and wife, Sharon of Shippensburg and nieces and nephews.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At the family’s request, all services will be private.
