Sara Jane Allen, age 99 of Shippensburg, passed away July 2, 2026 at Shippensburg Health and Rehabilitation. She was born January 10, 1927 in Chambersburg to the late Harvey and Mildred (Nicholson) Allen. Sara was a member of the Chambersburg Bible Church, Assembly of God and loved to shop and play bingo.
She is survived by her brother, Alfred Allen of Chambersburg and nieces and nephews.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 10:00am at Spring Hill Cemetery. Rev. Richard Reese will officiate the funeral.
