Sara Joan Clayton

Sara Joan Clayton, age 87, of Santa Ana, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at South Coast Medical Center, Santa Ana. She was born Sunday, March 5, 1933 in Clarksville, the child of the late Alex and Elizabeth Marthia (Bellamy) Welker. She was employed in Washington DC by the FBI as a fingerprint clerk for 4 years. Sara is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Gail C. Mayes, Chambersburg, PA, two sons: William C. Clayton, Anaheim, CA, and Doyle Eugene Clayton, Bradenton, FL, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by sisters: Jeanette Tallmon, CA, and Elizabeth Welker, TN, and a brother, William Welker, TN Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A full obituary will follow. Private Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
