Saundra “Sandy” L. Kelley, age 78, of Chambersburg, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born March 29, 1943 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Wilmer E. and Louella G. (Amsley) Day. Sandy retired from Letterkenny Army Depot where she worked as a laborer for over 20 years. She was a member of the Freedom in Christ Church in Scotland. She thoroughly enjoyed playing BINGO, spending time at the casinos, gardening, and listening to country music. Sandy is survived by two daughters, Cindy J. (Brian) Kauffman of Shippensburg and Dixie S. Kauffman of Shippensburg; three sons, Rocky L. Kelley of Shippensburg, Timmy A. (Melinda) Kelley of Mont Alto and Johnnie R. (Dawn) Kelley of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Falcone of Chambersburg; and one brother, Raymond Day of Fayetteville. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband who passed in 1996, John J. Kelley; brother, Lloyd E. Day; sister, Eva J. Brindle; and great-grandson, Logan Mooney. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 22 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor John Pogue officiating. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services. Interment will be in Cleversburg Cemetery in Shippensburg.
