Selina "Sue" Florence Walizer, age 84 of Chambersburg, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at her home. She was born Thursday, July 28, 1932 in Treddyffrin Township, PA, the daughter of the late Henry T. and Anna (Speakman) Bernard. Sue was a loving wife and mother who in addition to her family, dearly loved playing golf. She was a member of Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star and Red Hats Society. She enjoyed sewing her clothing and items for her home which was beautifully decorated. She also took great pleasure in playing bridge and gardening. Most of all, she delighted in time spent with her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Glenn H. Walizer. She is also survived by two daughters, Jacci L. and husband Alan Hammaker, Pottstown, Kit S. Walizer, Morgantown, WV, son, Glenn "Rip" H. Walizer, III, Washington, PA, granddaughters, Stefanie and husband Bradley Boyer, Fleetwood, Christina and husband Jordan Herr, Schwenksville, and Ashley Hammaker, Sanatoga, grandsons Daniel Walizer, Washington, PA, Dean "DJ" Rossman, and Benjamin Rossman, both of Shippensburg, and great-grandchildren, Matthew Boyer, Brody Herr and Sydney Herr. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a sister, Willa Rogers and brother Duke Bernard. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 26 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend James Richwine officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until services. Interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Centre County.
