Shirley A. (Bergey) Miller, age 78 of Biglerville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at York Hospital. She was born Tuesday, March 15, 1938 in Lock Haven, the daughter of the late Charles N. and Betsy B. (Young) Duffield. Shirley graduated from Bald Eagle High School in Lock Haven. She was formerly employed by Gettysburg College for many years. She had also been employed at King's Dept Store, Ames Dept. Store, Jamesway, Lake Heritage Security, Festival Foods Security, McDonalds in Gettysburg and Knouse Foods, Peach Glen. After her retirement, she enjoyed keeping her grandchildren, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and watching Jeff Gordon race. She loved watching NCIS and Bones television shows. She is survived by three sons, Robert A. and wife Peggy Bergey of Biglerville, Charles H., Sr. and wife Liz Bergey, of Biglerville, Andrew J. and wife Sarah Bergey of Wilmington, DE, foster son, Joseph and wife Alta Stewart of Chambersburg, two grandchildren, Renee Ritchie and companion Andy Gruber of New Bloomfield and Chuckie Bergey and fianc� Kayla Wilson of Bendersville, two great-grandchildren, Monica Ritchie and Kellin Siebor. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday, June 29, at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with Reverend Linda Summers officiating. A visitation will be held at Dugan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:30 PM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306.
