Stuart "Scottie" E. Scott

Stuart E. (Scottie) Scott, age 74, formerly of Williamsport, MD, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his daughter’s home following a short illness. He was born Saturday, June 17, 1944 in Williamsport, the son of the late Robert L. and Genevieve L. (Jessup) Scott. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1962. He was formerly employed as a construction welder at Grove Manufacturing where he was employed for 34 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Moose, Redmen, and American Legion. He is survived by two daughters, Chrystal Scott and Denise Kendrick both of Shippensburg, two sons, Dane G. Scott of Shippensburg, Stuart E. Scott, Jr. of Williamsport, MD, nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Allen Scott and sister Dixie Lee Fundis. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Graveside services will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, MD on Friday, July 27 at 1:00 PM.
