Susan B. Lerew

Susan B. (Gardner) Lerew, age 66, of York Springs died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born Friday, December 1, 1944 in York Springs the daughter of the late John O. and Julia A. (Kovatch) Gardner. Susan was a homemaker and enjoyed attending concerts and listening to the band Borderline. She is survived by her husband, Dean A. Lerew to whom she was married for 42 years. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy M. Gardner who died in 2011 and a brother, John E. Gardner who passed away many years ago. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth G. Swick officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Susan's name to the charity of one's choosing.
