Susie J. Custer

Susie J. Custer, 71, of Shippensburg, unexpectedly passed away on September 6, 2021. She was born on November 4. 1949 in Carlisle, Pa to the late James Yohe and Sarah (Hurley) Yohe-Misner. She is survived by two sons: Jason P. (Tanya L.) Custer of Shippensburg, Pa, and Dwayne M. Custer of Portland, OR; one step-son Thom (Christine) Sheaffer of Etters, Pa; two grandsons: Cody A. Custer and his fiancé Alyssa B. Vazzola, and Bailey R. Custer and his fiancé Keaira M. Brannen, all of Shippensburg, Pa; one step-grandson, Weston Sheaffer of Etters, Pa; three great-granddaughters, Amelia B., Adelynn L., and Charleigh A., all of Shippensburg, Pa. Susie is also survived by three sisters; Judy Alleman of Newville, Pa., Joyce Shannon of Shippensburg, Pa., and Esther Culbertson of Newburg, Pa.; two brothers: Roger Yohe and James Yohe Jr., both of Shippensburg, Pa., and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 6 years, Lemard Custer, and her soul companion of 45 years, Clair “Tom” Sheaffer.
