Terry R. Mooney

Terry R. Mooney, age 63, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at Hershey Medical Center. He was born Tuesday, May 1, 1956 in Cumberland, MD, the son of the late Roy E. and Norma L. (Schramm) Mooney. Terry graduated from Alleghany High School in 1974. He was employed by Suburban Propane in Carlisle as a delivery driver. He was a member of Potomac Lodge 100 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons and Ali Ghan Shriners. Terry adored his grandsons, enjoyed riding his Harley and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife, of 39 years, Janice M. (Smith) Mooney. He is also survived by his son, Travis W. Mooney and companion Joanie of Shippensburg, three grandsons, Hunter, Jacob and Wyatt Mooney of Carlisle, two brothers, Roy E. Jr. and wife Nora Mooney of LaVale, MD and Tim L. and wife Penny Mooney of LaVale,MD, two sisters, Norma Kay Schade of Eckhart , MD, Lydella Focht of Hyndman, numerous nieces and nephews. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Dr., Shippensburg with Rev. Charles Martzall officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services.
