Theodore G. Valcis

Theodore G. Valcis, age 81 of Shippensburg, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Forest Park Nursing Home in Carlisle. He was born Thursday, April 16, 1936 in Harrisburg, the child of the late Theodore Valcis and Sophia (Szverra) Metzel. He served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary (Bowser) Valcis. He is also survived by his daughter, Suzette Valcis, grandson, Kahlil Telerico, one great-grandchild, step-sons, Walter Wolabaugh, Kurt Wolabaugh, Todd Wolabaugh and John Wolabaugh and three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
