Thomas D. Chaplik

Thomas D. Chaplik, age 77 of Shippensburg, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Saturday, April 4, 1936 in Scottdale, PA the son of the late Edward C. and Mary C. (Conners) Chaplik. Thomas was formerly employed by U.S. Postal Service in Pittsburgh for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, F. June (Staude) Chaplik. He is also survived by a son, Mark D. and wife Diane Chaplik of Sykesville, MD. He was preceded in death by twin daughters who passed at birth. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Steven Fleming officiating.
