Thomas D. Roth

Thomas D. Roth, age 70 of Gardners, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Thursday, July 2, 1942 in Carlisle the son Margaret R. (Stough) Smith of Carlisle and the late Dale H. Roth. Thomas graduated from Bermudian Springs High School in 1961. He was employed by PNC Bank in Gettysburg for 15 years. He was a member of Idaville United Brethren in Christ Church. Thomas was also an avid Penn State fan. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.He was chosen for the Air Force Drum and Bugle Corp. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lorena M. (Bradley) Roth. He is also survived by stepdaughter Cheryl L. and husband Brian Adams of Carlisle; stepson Walter S. (Butch) and wife Tracy Richie of Biglerville; a granddaughter, Kelly Wolfe of Biglerville; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Linda Roth of Philadelphia. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Idaville United Brethren in Christ Church with Reverend Stewart Johns officiating. Interment will be in Idaville Cemetery.
