Thomas James Knouse, age 21 of Bendersville, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016. He was born Tuesday, November 8, 1994 in Gettysburg the son of Christopher P. and Timalea M. (Sheads) Knouse, Sr. Thomas graduated from Biglerville High School in 2013. He was employed by Jerry Justice Excavating for two years. Tommy loved to work on cars and to help others. He loved anything artistic and playing the guitar. In addition to his parents, Tommy is also survived by a sister, Christine L. Ellis of Gardners; three brothers, Christopher P. Knouse, Jr. of Aspers, Kyle S. Knouse of Hanover and James A. Ellis of Bendersville. He is also survived by maternal grandparent,s P. Timothy and Debbie M. (Carver) Sheads of Gettysburg; paternal grandfather, R. James Knouse, Sr. of Biglerville; uncle and aunt, R. James and wife Shelly Knouse, Jr. of Biglerville; aunt Laura and husband Tim Cole of Arendtsville and cousins, Elizabeth and William Knouse and Emma Cole. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28 at Wenksville United Methodist Church, 2010 Wenksville Road with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday, February 26 at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bendersville from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
