Tommy C. Stouffer

Tommy Charles Stouffer, "Tomahawk", age 70, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center, Carlisle. He was born October 7, 1950 in Chambersburg, the son of the late Charles A. and Lois Jean (Palmer) Stouffer. Tommy graduated from Shippensburg High School and he proudly served in the US Marine Corps in 1970 during the Vietnam War. Tom then went on to the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg, where he earned an Associate's Degree in electrical engineering. He was employed as a cross country truck driver for many years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #223 and the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post #6168 in Shippensburg. He is survived by his loving wife, of 15 years, Pamela (Maxwell) Stouffer of Carlisle; two children, Michael Stouffer of Mechanicsburg, and Amanda Kay of Shippensburg; three step-children, Su Ann Hippensteel, Becky Dechane, and Harry E. Kuhn; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Agnew of Fayetteville; one brother, David Stouffer of Shippensburg; and niece, Cara Reasner of Shippensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-granddaughter. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
