Tyler D. Hockenberry

Tyler D. Hockenberry, age 39 most recently of Langhorne passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his childhood home in Cleversburg. He was born Thursday, April 12, 1973 in Chambersburg, the son of Larry D. Hockenberry of Cleversburg and the late Linda M. (Davidson) Hockenberry. Following Tyler's graduation from Shippensburg High School in 1991, he had a successful career as a professional event planner with UCG in Rockville, MD and most recently with Meeting Alliance of Robinsonville, NJ. He loved to travel to the beach, going to amusement parks and his dog, Jake. Tyler had traveled to many locations for his business and also for pleasure. In addition to his father, he is also survived bya sister: Stacy J., wife of Anthony Pattillo of Chambersburg, Stepmother Sharon S. Hockenberry of Cleversburg, maternal grandmother Catherine Davidson, of Walnut Bottom, paternal grandparents John and Violet Hockenberry of Shippensburg,a niece, Erin Pattillo anda nephew, Brandon Pattillo; several aunts, uncles and many cousins along with many lifelong friends.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Davidson in who passed in 2010. He was loved by all who knew him. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM onMonday, July 30 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Ronald Parr will officiate. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens in Carlisle. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
