Vera A. Reeder

Vera Annabell Reeder, age 84, of Spring Run, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Fulton County Medical Center. She was born Tuesday, September 24, 1935 in Roxbury, the daughter of the late Charles and Verma (Hammond) Reed. Vera enjoyed needle point and crochet in her free time. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Sarah) Gipe, Charles (Valerie) Gipe all of Spring Run; one daughter, Victoria (Jeff) Schuchman of Indiana, six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Austin and Paige Gelwicks; four brothers, Jerry Wilson, Melvin Reed, John Reed, Elmer Reed and three sisters, Mildred Wingert, Donna McCurdy and Mary Van Scyoc. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 1 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Marlin “Butch” Neil and Pastor Ryan Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, 402 Richwalter Avenue, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
