Vernon Dale Lybrand

Vernon Dale Lybrand, age 75 of Carlisle, passed away March 6, 2024 at UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born March 25, 1948 in Carlisle to the late Norman D. and Joyce M. (Beam) Lybrand. Vernon was a US Navy veteran who enjoyed hunting, fishing, western movies and TV shows and was a Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan.

He is survived by his companion, Virginia Schlusser of Carlisle; children, William Lybrand and wife, Beth of Hanover, Martina Ann Geiman and husband, Jason of Hanover and Micheal Lybrand and wife, Stacy of Jacobus; grandchildren, Bryce and Brayden Lybrand, Dakota Geiman and Malcohm Massie; brothers, Norman Lybrand of Mt. Holly, George Lybrand, Jeff Lybrand and Cofer Lybrand and sister, Jo Yeingst, all of Gardners. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Crystal Lybrand; brothers, Carl, Clair and Gregory Lybrand and sister, Wendy Garland.
