Vernon M. Kling

Vernon M. Kling, age 71,died on Monday, October 17, 2011 at his Shippensburg residence. He was born Tuesday, October 15, 1940 in Mount Joy, theson ofRobert and the late Helen (Barrick) Kling. Vernon was employed by James Craft Son in York Haven for 30 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 223 of Shippensburg and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168 in Shippensburg. Vernon is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margaret "Peg" (Parsons) Kling. He is also survived by two daughters: Pamela Bowles, Bainbridge, PA and Michelle Bowers, Marietta, PA;one son, Benjamin Kling, Mt. Joy, PA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Kling. Professional cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
