Vesta T. Warren

Vesta T. Warren, age 92 of Bendersville, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg. She was born on Saturday, June 11, 1921 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Emory C. and Grace R. (Rice) Tuckey. She was formerly employed by Knouse Foods, Peach Glen. She had also worked at Musselman's in Gardners in the kitchen. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Wenksville and Bendersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband of 71 years, Wayne E. "Ozzie" Warren passed away in 2012. She is survived by a son, Vincent W. and wife Nadine Warren of Gardners, one grandson, Wade V. and wife Lauri Warren of Bendersville, two step-grandchildren, three sisters, Janet Knouse of Arendtsville, Lorraine Barbour of Bendersville and Nadine Oyler of Biglerville and a number of nieces and nephews. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death, Doralyn Golden, Helen Wolff, and Wilmore and Keith Tuckey. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12 at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with Reverend Robert S. McEllroy III officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery.
