Victor M. Nieves

Victor M. Nieves, age 80, of Gettysburg, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Monday, May 17, 1943 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Encarnation Nieves and Emerita Santiago.

Victor was formerly employed by Knouse Foods for many years.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Nieves of Gettysburg and Melanie Smelser of Minneapolis, MN, a son, Luis Nieves of Chambersburg, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Edna Laureano of Chambersburg, and a brother, Abraham Nieves of Florida. He was preceded in death by sister Carmen Garcia.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with Pastors Felix Fontanez, Noel Benzo and Federico Laureano officiating. Interment will be in Centerview Cemetery in Biglerville. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
