Virgina Rauber

Virginia M. Rauber, age 51 of Shippensburg, went to be with her husband on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born Saturday, January 20, 1962 in Eaton, Ohio the child of the late Carl Shafer and Imogene S. Schultz. She was loved by many, forgotten by none. She enjoyed spending her time driving the Amish around and playing her computer games. She loved to spend time with her family and the family will miss the Sunday gatherings they had. She is survived by two daughters, Julie Carney, wife of Everett, of Newville, and Candy Smith, fianc� of Brian Ducan of Newburg; six grandchildren: Ananda Carney, Marshall Carney, Kiler Carney, Skyler Rauber-Smith, Chloe Smith, and Kaleb Rauber; a sister, Carlena and a brother, Rex both of Eaton, OH; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Raymond N. Rauber and her father. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Dave Haldeman officiating. A viewing will held on Monday, August 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA.
