Virginia Henderson

Virginia C. (Kelly) Henderson, age 91, formerly of South Portland, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015. She had resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Richard McCleaf in Pennsylvania. She was born Sunday, August 26, 1923 in South Portland, ME, the daughter of the late George M. and Sarah E. (Sheppard) Kelly. Virginia was educated in South Portland schools. She was Methodist by faith. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra E. and husband Richard E. McCleaf, of Aspers, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons, two step-great-great-grandsons, three great-great-granddaughters, two sisters, Irene E. Cizin of NY and Edith G. Dube of CT. She was preceded in death by husband Donald K. Henderson, three sisters Henrietta M. Randall, Dorothy G. Connors, Eleanor B. Kuzma and one brother John M. Kelly. Funeral services will be held Friday June 12 at 11:00 AM at the Hobbs Funeral Home, Inc., 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Interment will be in Forest City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services
