Virginia M. Reed

Virginia M. Reed, age 95 of Shippensburg, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab. She was born Saturday, October 4, 1919 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Albert B. and Esther (Franklin) Shriner. Virginia was formerly employed by G.C. Murphy in Shippensburg for 20+ years. Her husband of 31 years, Howard G. Cramer passed in 1969. She was also preceded in death by her second husband Harmon Reed. She is survived by: step-granddaughter Candis D. and husband Barry E. Newman of Fayetteville, step-great-granddaughter, Stacy Newman and step-great-great-granddaughter, Trista Newman, both of Indiana, PA and daughter-in-law Patricia Cramer of Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her son Howard J. Cramer who passed in 2012. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
