Walter Dudiak, age 78, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born Monday, March 15, 1943 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Peter and Stella (Karpiak) Dudiak. Walter graduated from Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls, NJ. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh Valley College. He was formerly employed by Letterkenny Army Depot as an independent contractor for 12 years. He had also worked at SKF Industries in Shippensburg for several years. He was a member of Mission Hill Church in Chambersburg. Walter enjoyed golfing, board games and card games. He was an avid Penn State fan and loved to travel. He served in the US Navy as an electrical technician from 1964 - 1970. He is survived by his wife, of 33 years, Lois M. (Kline) Dudiak. He is also survived by a daughter, Dawn M. and husband Daniel Spurlin of Enola; two sons, Chris S. and wife Dawn Dudiak of Etters, David W. and wife Patricia Dudiak of Deland, FL; step-son. Thomas E., II and wife Lori Gsell of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 1, at Mission Hill Church, 465 Center Street, Chambersburg with Reverend Joel Gillman officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 1599, Chambersburg.
