Wanda J. Eaton, age 72, of Shippensburg, passed to be with her Lord Monday, July 30, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center. She was born Thursday, January 10, 1946 in Huntingdon County, the daughter of the late Kenneth Stains and Cula V. Cromwell. Wanda graduated from Southern Huntingdon High School in 1963. She was formerly employed by J. Schoeneman/Stanley for 27 years. She was a member of Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene, where she had served as Sunday school teacher, Youth Group director and taught Vacation Bible School. She also served as a church board member, church treasurer and the work and witness coordinator. Her passion for travel took her all over the world. Her hobbies included knitting, canning and doing puzzles. She also loved to entertain at her home. She is survived by her husband, of 47 years, Thomas F. Eaton. She is also survived by two daughters, Anita J. and husband Rod Tosten of Biglerville and Dawn R. and husband Jeff Reed of Carlisle, a son, Barry L. Allison of Chambersburg, step-children, James C. and wife Mary Alice Eaton of Chambersburg, Roger L. and wife Cindy Eaton of Spring Hill, FL, Gary W. and wife Sue Eaton of Sparta, TN, two grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by step-daughter, Terry G. Meredith. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Dr. Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 4 at Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene, 415 E. Orange Street, Shippensburg with Rev. John Cunningham and Rev. Dale Detweiler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Work and Witness Fund, c/o Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene, 415 E. Orange Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
