Warren Barrett Browning

Warren Barrett “old guy” Browning, 80, beloved husband of Cindy (Clopper) Browning, entered into Gods eternal care on August 1, 2026 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Chambersburg. Warren was born on August 11, 1945, in Cumberland, Maryland, and was the son of the late Willis Browning and Betty (Frame) Browning.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Warren served valiantly in Vietnam, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him. Warren's passions included technology, a love for computers, and a deep appreciation for aviation. He enjoyed skydiving and scuba diving, exploring the world beneath and above, and seeking thrills with a fearless heart. Above all, Warren cherished the time spent with his family.

In addition to his wife of 30 years, Warren is survived by two sons, Gary Browning of Greencastle, Johnallen Browning and his significant other, Sara, of State College; one stepdaughter, Keisha Clopper of Hagerstown Maryland; and seven grandchildren. Warren was preceded in death by one son, Robert Browning; and two brothers, Richard Browning and Johnathon Browning.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Warren will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
